The Power of 'Let's'

My journey of becoming confident and powerful

There is an interesting quote on mentorship.
“My mentor said, ‘Let’s go do it,’ not ‘You go do it.’
How powerful when someone says, ‘Let’s!’”

When I heard this quote for the first time, I wasn't sure how to feel about it.

My prior experiences with mentors were always like "Do this, follow that, it'll be good for you."
More like commands rather than working together.

So, I was in quest of searching for that guru.
For some who will guide me, who will motivate me, who will show me the brilliance of growth,
who will say the words, 'Let's do it'.

You may have heard of a saying,
"Good things happen when it's the time".
Well, it's not a saying for me anymore. Because a good thing has happened.

At the beginning of the lockdown, I was tormented thinking about my career. I was in the darkness of frustration. And my mentor appeared as a ray of light.

He said, "Let's learn! Let's be productive! Let's grow!"

He has made me believe that everything is possible if I want it to be.

I am growing faster, learning faster than ever.
