When I was in High School, I realized “no matter how creative I am, I have to be popular by showcasing my talent and that's the only way to achieve my desired position”. I expected that trick to only be useful during High School. But, I was proven wrong.
Face recognition is not only appreciated but also inevitable in today's world. Personal Branding is all about creating an aura of credible, valued, and recognized personage.
“Personal Branding” has always been intimidating for me. To be more efficient in self-promotion, reading books and attending sessions have always been my preferred choices. And during this pandemic, 4 distinguished personalities, (Mr. Tajdin Hassan, Mr. Sohan Haidear, Mr. Nowrid Amin, and Mr. Rafeed Elahi) holding a webinar on personal branding has just been cherry on the cake. So, I am going to summarize my learnings from such insightful session.
Personal Branding is an indispensable topic on the bucket list. To kick start building Personal image, as a beginner, A Pyramid Model (Emotion, Content, Performance) can be followed. Also, determining the choice between Fame seeking and Freedom Seeking needs to be considered.
Before diving into any formula, it is important to acknowledge our goal and plausible outcome of Personal Branding by analyzing the correlation between Effort and Cost.
Additionally, “The Rule of 5B” model enlightens on building expertise, relevancy, consistency, authenticity, and availability.
Personal Branding requires Patience, Consistency, and Determination. Creating a positive impact, delivering messages by telling stories, and showing authenticity towards the audience are the effective steps of the successful Personal Branding ladder.
