A perfect recipe for an apology

Recently, I have read an interesting book 'Good Boss, Bad Boss' by Robert I. Sutton.

From there, I got these effective points of apology, especially for leaders. Sharing here too:

𝐓𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐥𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐟𝐮𝐥𝐥𝐲:
A good leader always apologizes on behalf of the team instead of playing a blame game. He/she takes whole responsibility on himself/herself.

𝐍𝐨 𝐬𝐮𝐠𝐚𝐫 𝐜𝐨𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠:
Accepting the fault as the raw it's and apologizing. No rephrasing, no waffling.

𝐀𝐩𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐢𝐳𝐞 𝐟𝐮𝐥𝐥𝐲:
Saying sorry shouldn't be the only action taken. Apologizing with realization and make the other person feel is the most crucial thing.

𝐓𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐢𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐥 𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐜𝐚𝐧:
Even after the incident, after saying sorry, if there's anything, that can be done/fixed, one should give the best to do that without delaying a second.

𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐝:
The mistake we do after doing a mistake that forgets the lessons from the mistake. We need to sit down, think, and note down the lessons for not repeating them in the future.

𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐰𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐛𝐞 𝐝𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐝𝐢𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐥𝐲:
To show and prove that the mistake won't be repeated, one needs to communicate. Need to convey how the process will be different and what will be the criteria for measuring those changes.
